Navigate to the Private Catalog from the main navigation bar
Step 1 - Create a New Product
You will create the product's foundation with two core attributes; Brand/Manufacturer and Product Group Name.
The name of the brand manufacturer. You will want to make sure that you watch your spelling to make sure that you don't accidentally get the same brand in twice. Examples of Brand/Manufacturer: Sea-Doo, AFX, Stillen, Kubota, Seizmik, Yamaha.
Product Group Name
Examples of Product Group Name: Force Gloves, Outpost Jacket, GX-J Boots. You want to group similar products with different attributes together so that they can display on a marketplace with dropdowns or attribute selectors. Don't let size, color, or option leak into your Product Group Name. Utilize the size, color, option columns the way they are meant to be used.
A Product is a unique MPN; There is only one MPN per product. A Product Group is all the different variations of a single product; there are multiple MPNs in a Product Group.
Step 2 - Add Images and Product Details
Add/Upload a New Image
You can browse to images on your computer or you can select images directly from your Media Center.
The Media Center is a full-service image hosting platform for users to utilize however they see fit. It supports just about any type of Photography, Videography, or Graphic Design to be used on product images. The main purpose of the feature is to allow you to easily manage all of your Private Catalog Images.
- Click “Add/upload new image” and browse to the image on your computer.
- Double click the image file and then click the green “Upload file” button.
- Don’t x out. Scroll down and click “Select” on the image. Then you can x out of the image uploader pop-up.
- The image is now attached to this product creation.
Manufacturer Part Number
The MPN from the Manufacturer or Original Brand.
- Large, Medium, Small
- 8, 9, 10, 11
- 80.00mm, 90.00mm, 100.00mm
Keep your naming conventions consistent throughout all of your apparel data. You can also do LG, M, S if you want, just keep it the same for all product lines. That way when people are shopping around your site or a marketplace everything looks and feels familiar and organized.
Same as above. Red, Yellow, Green will work great. RD, YLW, GRN will also work if you want. Just keep it consistent with ALL of your catalog data.
Use this field if there is a key option on a product line that you feel would be nice to have a shopper toggle on. Or if there are is a product that has like a color line with chrome or black accents. Here are some things we see people use for a Product Option:
- Titanium, Steel, Aluminum, Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel
- Knurled, Deep Cut, Slot Track, Dimpled
- Chrome Accent, Gloss Black Accent, Carbon Fiber Accent
- Standard, Short, Long
The MSRP for the product. There are additional fields for "Sale Price" which are covered below.
Check the box if it is a used product. This designation will follow the product to eBay so that it is properly marked on the marketplace.
Some marketplaces utilize a Universal Product Code or Global Tracking Item Number. If input, the software will push to the marketplaces for you.
Ounces only. No Decimals. No abbreviations or text (lbs, Oz, etc). i.e. a value of 17 is 1lb 1oz
Height, Width, Depth
Inches. No Decimals. No abbreviations or text (in., ", etc). Just raw numbers.
Mainly used for Used Parts Sellers. (Heavily worn, oxidized, deep scratch, like new, etc)
Step 3 - Add Another Variation or Create Another Product Group
After you create the initial Product Group you will have an option to add another variation to the group, or closeout and create another product.
Step 4 - Add Price & Inventory
After you initially create the product you can add inventory, pricing, and fitment by clicking into an MPN in your Private Catalog
The number of items that you have in stock at the time of product creation. If a product sells Qty. 1 on your webstore then the Shelf Quantity will be decremented by 1.
How many days you would need to get tracking to the customer. If it is in your shop this would typically be a value of 1 (1 day).
The price that you want to sell the product for.

You can always update price and inventory for your Private/Custom products directly from the interface as shown above. Also, if you prefer to update in bulk using a csv file you will want to use the Shelf Inventory job in File Center.
Step 5 - Add Vehicle Fitment
You must add each Year, Make, Model possibility. There is no way to just import a range. To get the YMM search bar to function correctly every unique vehicle must be represented. If it fits 2005-2008 Yamaha YZ 250 then you must add each one:
- 2005 Yamaha YZ 250
- 2006 Yamaha YZ 250
- 2007 Yamaha YZ 250
- 2008 Yamaha YZ 250
